COLUMBIA, Mo.–U.S. News & World Report recognized Columbia College in their third edition of Top Online Education Programs. Columbia College’s online bachelor’s degree program, Master of Arts in Teaching and MBA programs were all acknowledged.

“We are honored to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report,” said Mike Randerson, vice president of adult higher education. “The college has been an early adopter of technology, particularly in online education, and we continuously strive to deliver a quality education to students across the world. This honor is indicative of our dedication to be a model institution.”

The award was based on teaching practices and student engagement, student services and technology, and faculty credentials and training. The U.S. News & World Report ranked online bachelor’s degree programs as well as online graduate degree programs with at least 80 percent of their course content online.

Columbia College offers 27 associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees online. With these programs, more than 900 classes are offered online every year.

Columbia College is a private, nonprofit, liberal arts and science institution that has more than 30 campuses across the country. Of the campuses, 18 of them are on military bases. They offer day, evening and also online classes to fit student’s schedules. For more information, visit www.ccis.edu.
