Principal of Hickman High School

Eric Johnson

For Eric Johnson, the accomplishment he’s most proud of is recent. In 2014, he became the principal of Hickman High School. Previously, Johnson was the assistant principal at Hickman for four years and taught World Studies and the African American Experience at Rock Bridge High School for three years.

Although there’s no typical day at a high school, Johnson says the best part of his day is often interacting with students during passing periods, during lunch or in the classroom.

Johnson is also involved in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Columbia Public Schools Equity Team and Urban Empowerment Ministries.
