The advertising agency Woodruff Sweitzer has created a new division, Sugar, dedicated to non-traditional, experiential marketing approaches that create direct brand interaction opportunities for consumers. Pam Ogles, who has been a vice president at Woodruff Sweitzer for three years, will lead the new division as director of Sugar. The team launched the new division in April with a party at Orr Street Studios.

Bobby and Kim Chick have opened a baseball and softball training center, Balls-n-Strikes, at 2100 Corporate Place. The local franchise of the Missouri chain provides batting cages and lessons with certified instructors for students of all ages. The business is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
