COLUMBIA, Mo. — Columbia Regional Airport updated their online presence, unveiling their new website at www.FlyMidMo.com.

Buzz surrounding changes to the airport’s service providers have reflected changes to flights, passenger numbers and other updates.

According to a press release from the airport, City IT transitioned from a third party to an in-house server. This will allow quick changes without the need for an extra step in the updating process. Bringing the site in-house also resulted in an immediate net savings of over $600 annually in addition to annual savings in design and update work

This effort was a collaborative one, including the following: City IT, Public Communications staff, Public Works and airport staff.

In addition to daily schedules, flights will be able to be tracked in real time. The website will be accessible on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. Facebook and Twitter links will increase social media presence on the site as well.

The top right corner of the site features home, phone, email, Facebook, and Twitter buttons so customers can easily contact the airport.
